Engaging Industry Leaders in a National Movement to Combat Drug Abuse, Nominating BTC and Seoheung Presidents as Next Participants
Lee Jang hyey, the CEO of Ildong Bioscience, has recently taken part in the "NO EXIT" campaign, an initiative aimed at eradicating drug abuse and spreading awareness about the risks associated with drug addiction. This campaign is a collaborative effort spearheaded by the National Police Agency, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and the Korea Anti-Drug Movement Headquarters.
The unique aspect of the "NO EXIT" campaign is its relay approach, where participants share the message "Maze without an exit, NO EXIT drugs, never start" on various media or social networking platforms and then nominate two others to continue the chain. CEO Lee Jang hyey joined the campaign following a recommendation from Son Dong-il, CEO of Cheonho N Care, who was an earlier participant.
During his participation, Lee Jang hyey expressed his support for the campaign's objectives. Given his role in the health functional food industry, he emphasized his commitment to promoting public health and combating drug-related issues. He announced his plan to engage in various initiatives aimed at both public health improvement and drug crime prevention.
In keeping with the campaign's format, Lee Jang hyey nominated two other industry leaders to participate next: Kim Tae-young, president of BTC, a company specializing in the development and production of health functional food ingredients, and Park Geum-deok, president of Seoheung, a firm engaged in pharmaceuticals and health functional food production.
Ildong Bioscience, established in 2016 as a subsidiary of Ildong Holdings, leverages the lactic acid bacteria technology and infrastructure of Ildong Pharmaceutical. The company stands out in the health functional food sector, supplying probiotics and other functional materials, including self-developed, individually recognized ingredients, to major domestic and international companies. It also holds a quadruple coating patent, enhancing the stability of its products.
